2021 STARS Crystal-Growing Summer Camp

We are hosting a free, virtual summer camp taught by our nationally-awarded and experienced team to provide students with hands-on experiments and to teach students important note-taking and observational skills and expose them to the principles of crystallography. This experience will enhance their analytical thinking and creative skills, which can be very useful and beneficial for any scientific or analytical endeavor they pursue.

But don't worry. We will provide engaging sessions that target students of all grade levels.

Seeing the success of the 2021 Timber Ridge Crystal Growing Competition that we hosted this past spring (https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLUhmxDvClcLn_mtAJL774aOSIcRh2YL6Q), we plan on hosting a 2021 Cobb County Crystal Growing Competition in the early fall. Since we will be sharing our key insights and skills of crystal-growing and providing real-time feedback for the summer camp students, this program will help students prepare for the fall crystal-growing competition.

The summer camp will be from Monday, July 5th, to Thursday, July 8th.

​
